Cosmodrome Vostochny
IWT specialists worked out a number of project cargoes for JSC "Center for Operation of Ground Space Infrastructure Facilities"
The delivery of high-pressure cylinders was made for the Vostochny cosmodrome. Massive cylinders weighing more than 4 tons and over 6 meters long are intended for receiving, storing and dispensing air, nitrogen and helium, for the subsequent reception of the "Angara" launch vehicle. Delivery was made from the port of the Korean port in Busan by sea transport to the port of Vladivostok. After carrying out all the necessary procedures for customs clearance, the LPG cylinders were handed over for delivery by road to Svobodny.
The first batches of cylinders are aimed at re-equipping the systems of the technical complex, which will subsequently ensure checks of the Angara-A5 launch vehicle during assembly and testing. However, the bulk will be used at the launch site to support the preparation and launch of a space rocket. In total, the specialists will have to deliver 172 such balloons to the cosmodrome.
